CHARITY EVENT: Proceeds benefit the American Watercraft Association and the Virginia Beach Water Rescue Team

THE EVENT: Wavedaze 2013 is a 3-day recreational jet ski and family social entertainment event that provides an opportunity to showcase the positive aspects of PWC’s as recreation and a sport.
WHEN: April 26th-28th, 2013
WHERE: Virginia Beach Oceanfront between 6th and 12th Streets
FACTS:
- Wavedaze was first held October 6th and 7th 2007 Raising $2000 for charity with 60 Plus jet skis.
- Wavedaze 2009 was held October 3rd and 4th 2009 and raised over $5300 with 135 skis from 20 states and Canada.
- In 2011 & 2012, Wavedaze expanded from an annual event to a semi-annual event.
- 2012 saw the highest attendance numbers ever experienced with 220 skis at the spring event and another 150 at the fall event. 370 jet skis came to Wavedaze in 2012!
- Registration includes a free annual membership to the American Watercraft Association.
- The event is set up to introduce new-comers and enthusiasts that share a common interest – the love of the sport of personal watercraft riding.
- The event is open to all watercraft enthusiasts and it is free to watch the events
- We are expecting more than 100 participants from across the States and Canada.
- The American Watercraft Association (AWA) will be present to help promote PWC Safety
- Professional sound systems, banners, canopy tents, and sponsor displays will set the stage for a truly inspiring event.
